Lev. 19:18 "You shall not take vengeance or bear any grudge , but you shall love your neighbor as yourself."

I am the Lord your God." When this command was first given, it seemed strange. In Egypt and before, vengace felt like justice. These days, we hea it so often, we dismiss it as an obvious cliche. And then, we go home, watch the news, and think, "They deserve so much worse." Or better, sometimes. But vengance is mine, sayeth The Lord. And I for one am glad not to get what I deserve. Jer. 23:24 (a) "Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? says the Lord. "

This is so true, and rather simple. But all the same, we try. We've probably all done something and thought, "Nobody will know." Worse sill is when we're grieving for whatever reason, and the enemy convinces us He's not there. But while it can be a bit intimidating to know He's watching, it's also a great comfort. So live honorably, and embrace that comfort. And if that nessage blessed you, please don't be shy to check out my main site-www.voiceintha.com  And then, tell your friends!

2 Thess. 3:3 "But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil."

You may notice, I've mentioned God's role as Father a bit lately. And there, I've mentioned how judgement comes more for correction than wrath Which is true, and you can scan past posts. But here, we see that He uses that to form us, "stablish" us in righteousness. Both preventing our evil acts, but also protecting us from any outside evil. Praise the Lord! Isaiah 40:28 "Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard,

T hat the everlasting God, the Lord , the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. Even so, He allows His disciples the priviledge of trying. Because, even if we only catch a glimpse of His goodness, that's still the sweetest thing. Which is why I work hard to bring you what I've seen. Because blessing you blesses me. Psalm 121:7 "The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life."

What blessed assurance! Scripture is full of great promises, but if I can be blunt, this one takes the cake. Especially when you consider that evil here broadly means bad things. And here, we're freed from them! Now, the exact definition might not be familiar, and sometimes we all chase bad things. But if we stick with Him, He will set us free. Acts 2:3(a) ''And there appeared to them tongues, as of fire."

The rest of this passage goes on to continue describing how the spirit filled all those gathered believers with wisdom and courage. Following the great comission, everything suddenly made sense, and Peter testified to the masses. And amazing as this story is, the best part occurs when we realize that the same spirit has come to fill us! There are countless stories through the years which followed, showing He is recieved by all who believe. So, if you're redeemed, God wants you to do great things. Eph. 6:4 " Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."

We're supposed to lean on our Heaenly Father as an example. But this is kind of the reverse of that verse from a couple days ago. It's not just that we as fathers should show less rage and more dissaproval. Rather, at the same time, remember being a kid. Don't lay out a standard they can't reach. Maybe they'll grow with time, but either way. Your relationship doesn't need the strain of their frustration. But as we follow in His ways, we too can show some grace. Psalm 69:1-2 "Save me, O God! For the waters have come up to my neck."

The Psalm continues to describe how the author sank, deep into mire. And maybe he did. But it's probably a metaphor for distress. The beauty is, it's super vague. So while we don't really know what he was going through, in some way, we've all been there. But better still is the way, in  every situation, Jesus saves. So when you feel like you\re drowning, just call on His grace. If you enjoyed that message, check out my main site-www.voiceintha.com  And then, tell your friends!

Psalm 103:13 "As a father pities his children, so the Lord pities those who fear him."

The Lord has wrath. But it's just like any dad.  Less mad, more dissapointed. Which makes sense, as He's already explained the right way to do everything. But some humans are convinced they know better. Others don't, but looking for help, they listen to what's around them. Sill others, though, listen, learn, and naturally fear Him. And while He cares for everyone, His heart goes out to them. If you liked that, check out my main site-www.voiceintha.com  And then, tell your friends!

Proverbs 23:24 "The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice; he who begets a wise son will be glad in him."

Of course, there can never be any gauruntee of this. Each child, every person, will become what they will. Still, we can strive to arrive at this joy. In the same way our Heavenly Father leads and teaches us, we must train up our children in the way they should go, that when they are old, they won't depart from it. And then, in the end, we can all enter in to His rest. Which will be the best. If that message blessed you please check out my main site-www.voiceintha.com  And then, tell your freinds!

Dan. 4:34 b " I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored him who lives for ever; for his dominion is an everlasting dominion,

And his kingdom endures from generation to generation." This was recorded, probably by a scribe, but at the commnd of Nebuchanezzer I of Babylon. Today, we read the writings of Paul in Romans 13, and take it all but for granted. We see so much happen on earth, it's hard to remeber who ordains it above. But this is a stark, if simple reminder that our God is indeed Lord of lords and King of kings, and He alone redeems. Psalm 46:10 "Be still, and know that I am God."

For me at least, this tends to occur in reverse. I know that He's God, so I can be still. I struggle with anxiety, over any little thing. I'm gonna be late, or its gonna rain, or we're not getting enough rain. and on and on again. But then, I'll be in an elevator, or somplace else I can't help but be still. And this verse comes to me. Beause He's always there, bringing me peace. If you liked that message, please check out my main site-www.voiceintha.com  And then, tell your friends!

Col. 3:13 "If one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you."

A word of caution. We gotta do this within reason, as we aren't all-poweful. Elsewhere, we're told to be "Wise as serpents." And while harmless as doves, we can't just be doormats. Still, with that said, we should show unusual grace. Not raging when we're cut off in traffic, or when someone cuts in line. Because they will. But if everyody who says they believed lives like this, the world would see a lot more peace. Maybe that's why He told us these things.  If you enjoyed that message, check out my main site-www.voiceintha.com  And then, tell your fiends!

Matt. 7:11 "Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is easy, that leads to destruction."

This seems so obvious! I never go looking for my own destruction. At least, not knowingly. But therein lies the rub. It's not only easy, but under the curse, it's the way of the world. Amost second nature for most of us. So how do we stop? Quite simply, we can't. We can and should, however, trust in the God who can do all things. Because in Him is perfect peace for all eternity. Hab. 3:19 "God, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like hinds’ feet,

H e makes me tread upon my high places." This is such a marvelous hope and comfort. Especially getting older, when even my memory isn't what I rmember it being. But even so, God fills me with new strength and abilities each day, helping me face them. And what's more, He makes this free offer to anyone who accepts that Christ is their Lord and savior. 1Thess. 5:11 "Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing."

They say that it's just as important to win souls for Christ as it is to bless the church on earth. Maybe even more so. After all, what good is it to tally up baptims and conversions, and then leave the faithful to fend for themselves? Instead,we should tell people Jesus loves them, and then show them that by how we live. If you enjoyed that, please visit my main site-www.voiceintha.com   And then, tell your friends!

1 Chron. 29 11 "Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory...Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all."

I'm paraphrasing a tad, but I'll address that here. Thepart I left out goes on for a bit about how He owns all that's in the heavens, and all that's in the Earth. Basically, everything that ever existed. So we should exalt Him, at the very least. Yet He calls us "Friend," and died for us! Such an incredible, intimate relationship. And one worthy of celebration. If that blessed you, pleasecheck out my main site-www.voiceintha.com  And then, tell your friends!

Eph. 3:20 ""Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine,

According to his power that is at work within us." As this lays out, you can't even begin to imagine the goodness God has in store for those that love Him. To demonstrate: Think about the best day you can remember, all those details. That's you imagining something pretty good. But here, we have a promise of exponentialy more! And our heavenly Father is, was, and always will be true to His word. If you liked that, please check out my main site-www.voiceintha.com  And then, tell your friends!

Hebrews 9:15 " Therefore Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive... eternal inheritance."

Yes, Christ came to suffer for our transgressions. And to put an end to a debt that we just couldn't pay. But even before that, with all of His ministry, and still now with all His teachings, Everything He ever does is to fix our relationship with the Father. Which means He's doing all the work. All you need to do to be redeemed is simply believe. If you liked that message, please check out my main site-www.voiceintha.com  And then, tell your friends!

Rev. 21:2 "And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem...pr-epared as a bride adorned for her husband."

This is the ultimate promise of our faith. All the trias of this age, and all the mercy brought by grace, they al result in this glorious day. Now, I only shared the beginning, and I encourage you to read the rest. But this paradise is the mystery with which, throughout all suffering, we will be blessed.
