Eph. 6:4 " Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."

We're supposed to lean on our Heaenly Father as an example. But this is kind of the reverse of that verse from a couple days ago. It's not just that we as fathers should show less rage and more dissaproval. Rather, at the same time, remember being a kid. Don't lay out a standard they can't reach. Maybe they'll grow with time, but either way. Your relationship doesn't need the strain of their frustration. But as we follow in His ways, we too can show some grace. John 8:58 "Truly, I tell you, before Abraham was, I am."

Out of the burning bush, the first thing God told the jews through Moses was, "I am that I am." Which means these pharisees knew exactly what Jesus meant when He said this. That this Christ, the God-Man eisted before all ages. But when was the last time you really thought about that? The Alpha and Omega, Author of all things, wants to just spend time with you. Sure, He has ideas about how you should do stuff, but that's tiny compared to just knowing Him. And the invitation for that is yours for the taking.  If you enjoyed that, check out my main site-www.voiceintha.com  And then, tell your friends!

Ecc. 7:28 "God has made man, but man looks for many devices."

That could just as well say, "Man looks for anything better." But that's not possible. God is good, in every possible sense. He doesn't just do good things, God  is  goodness itself. That might be confusing, but every good thing comes from God, every good thing happens because of God. So, by lining ourselves up with the way God does stuff, that translates to maximum good things!  If you enjoyrd that, check out my Substack, @voiceinthewilderness1. And then, tell your friends!

Gen. 15:1 "I am thy portion."

My Bible fell to this verse, wthout my seeking, at a time of uncertainty and anxiety. But God knew, and He led me to that pomise. Because He's that for me. And if you'e reading this for the first time, I wager He wants to be your great reward. So, fear not.        If you enjoyed that, check out my Substack, Voice in the Wilderness.
