The verse continues to speak about the way He keeps covenants. And while I truly enjoy that, rather than explaining covenants again, I'll just talk about faithfulness. See, humans are "faithful" when we do a thing most of the time. But nobody expects anybody to behave a way every single time. That'd be impossible. Except for God. He's poweful enough to create time itself, but also to remain steadfast throughout. And that's why we can rest our hope in Him, forevermore. Out of the burning bush, the first thing God told the jews through Moses was, "I am that I am." Which means these pharisees knew exactly what Jesus meant when He said this. That this Christ, the God-Man eisted before all ages. But when was the last time you really thought about that? The Alpha and Omega, Author of all things, wants to just spend time with you. Sure, He has ideas about how you should do stuff, but that's tiny compared to just knowing Him. And the invitation for that is yours for the taking.
