This is a huge statement. But it could use some explaining. See, human love might fill us with concerns. If we love others, we probably fear for them, and others may well have similar concerns about us. But God has all power, and He knows how events play out, which means He can love us perfectly. And if we would just accept that He loved us enough to first die, and then eliminate death for our sakes, then there's nothing to worry about. Not now, and not ever. Out of the burning bush, the first thing God told the jews through Moses was, "I am that I am." Which means these pharisees knew exactly what Jesus meant when He said this. That this Christ, the God-Man eisted before all ages. But when was the last time you really thought about that? The Alpha and Omega, Author of all things, wants to just spend time with you. Sure, He has ideas about how you should do stuff, but that's tiny compared to just knowing Him. And the invitation for that is yours for the taking.
