It's a bit of a weird arrangment. God's set things up so that He has the final say-so, but yet we have dominion. And you would think that means we can do whatever we want. Well, this is pretty much true. Thing is, that's like giving kids free run of your house. It might not always go super well, so you'd wamma leave some pointers. Which is what the Scriptures are. Out of the burning bush, the first thing God told the jews through Moses was, "I am that I am." Which means these pharisees knew exactly what Jesus meant when He said this. That this Christ, the God-Man eisted before all ages. But when was the last time you really thought about that? The Alpha and Omega, Author of all things, wants to just spend time with you. Sure, He has ideas about how you should do stuff, but that's tiny compared to just knowing Him. And the invitation for that is yours for the taking.
