Being the bit in between the Nativity and His baptism, this passage seemed appropriate. It helps us to appreciate that Christ is fully God and fully man, tempted as we are, yet without sin. Which is what made Him the perfect sacrifce, and also the perfect comforter. Becase, whatever you're going through, He gets it. And whatever you've done, He'll forgive it. Thanks be to God. Numbers 6:24-26 "The Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord Make His face to shine upon you, and give you peace."
This was the blessing spelled out for Moses, just before the children of Israel entered the promised land. Right after this, God said he'd put His name on them, and bless them. As a believer, you're grafted in! It's how God wants to bless you. Just accept Him, and live like it, And the Lord's face will shine on you.
